Looks like your problem is that you are trying to run python test.py from within the Python interpreter, which is why you're seeing that traceback. Make sure you're out of the interpreter, then run the python test.py command from bash or command prompt or whatever.

Open Control Panel Click 'Uninstall a Program' Scroll down to Python and click uninstall for each version you don't want anymore. This works on Windows 7 out of the box, no additional programs or scripts required.
Mar 6, 2020 · I am not able to setup the path variables such that my scripts work by double clicking them in windows 10. I was able to do this perfectly fine until I uninstalled and reinstalled Anaconda (Python 3.7.4).
Thus, running with 'python myscript.py' in a terminal worked fine but double clicking on the script did not. To get it working, I right-clicked on the script, went to Properties -> 'Opens with' -> navigate to correct version of Python and select it.
This runs every time you double click any .py script and launches a new command prompt to run the script you double clicked. Running through pythonw.exe suppresses the command prompt window when this initial script runs.
Aug 5, 2020 · This will only output Version 1.0 and than will exit with the exit code 0. You can change the exit code you want to have to any you want in cox.exit(YOUR_EXIT_CODE) although you probably would want to use 0 as the exit code for this.
